Hello, I'm Stephanie E.

I fell in love with photography at the age of 13 on my first trip to Europe. My dad let me borrow his Nikon film camera for my journey. I saw Lake Lucerne, the Swiss Alps, changing of the guard at Buckingham palace, the Eiffel Tower, Reine River and my first fondue through the lens of my camera. My passion turned into my profession when created my business, Little Plum Photography, and began documenting births in 2014. I was drawn to the rawness and realness and uniqueness of each and every birth, story and person. My creative heart loves the documentary style of photography utilizing natural light. I also love the challenge of creating what my clients envision. My photography experience has expanded into documenting families, maternity and newborn photography and portrait sessions and videography. I am also available for travel beyond Los Angeles and have recently done sessions for clients in Joshua Tree and Ojai. I have experience documenting all types of events, such as birthday parties, intimate wedding ceremonies, bris, adoptions, movie premiers and community events. I have won photography awards such as Click Magazine's Voice Image Competition & Images of the Year 2019, Top Ten Finalist Birth Becomes Her Birth Photography Awards 2020, Honorable Mention Award in the International Birth Photographer Awards 2017 and have been a featured artist in Dear Photographer Magazine Black and White Edition and in the LooksLikeFilm collective. I was honored to be featured on the cover of the Los Angeles Times August 16, 2019 and was a guest on KCRW's Greater LA with Steve Chiotakis.
