Toasts
Short speeches raised to the guests of honor during the reception.
Toasts are the short speeches, from the couple, hosts, best man, maid of honor, and others, delivered during the reception, usually with a drink raised. They are a highlight of the program.
They belong on the run of show so they do not run long or collide with dinner service. Your DJ or emcee manages the microphone and cues each speaker at the right moment.
