Hello, I'm Hripsime K.

Hripsime Karmiryan is the founder of HK Events, officially established in 2018. Shortly after receiving her Bachelors of Arts degree in English Language & Literature from Yerevan State University in 2012, she was hired as a Customer Service Manager at an advertising company. Meanwhile, she continued making small bit size treats for her first passion, Cake Pop Boutique, a professional business she established in 2010. With her large following in Armenia and United States, she was able to take her expertise in making treats for events and event planning to her new home, where she coordinated and planned her own wedding. After planning her wedding, she realized she had a passion for creating fabulous and timeless events and began to help friends and family on the weekends. While working in corporate America, she spent her weekends growing her business. Throughout the many years of operating, she has collaborated with numerous party planners and individuals to brighten event tables with her creations. In 2017, Hripsime and her husband welcomed their first baby boy, George. A few days after his birth, George was diagnosed with Galactosemia, a rare genetic disorder that includes a severe allergy to dairy. With this new revelation, Hripsime feared making desserts around her son. Although, she took a break from professional baking and event planning, she was able to learn and create specialized recipes for dairy free and vegan clients. In 2018, she decided to revisit her love for baking and event planning, hence, establishing HK Events.
