Processional & Recessional

The entrance (processional) and exit (recessional) of the ceremony party.
The processional is the ordered entrance of the wedding party and the couple at the start of the ceremony; the recessional is their exit at the end. Both usually happen to music.
The order and timing sit on your ceremony plan, and the music matters as much as the walk. Live instruments and ensembles or your ceremony musicians cue each moment so no one walks in silence.
